- Salon.com ran a piece on Jan Brewer called “This Week in Crazy” detailing her false claims that illegal immigrants are beheading people in Arizona. Many video clips are included.
- The LA Times ran a commentary by Marie Myung-Ok Lee on being an “anchor baby” and the ironies of US immigration policy. Her father was an anesthesiologist.
- A new edition of Eurohealth (volume 16, number 1) was just released that is dedicated to “Migration and Health in the European Union.” Eurohealth is a quarterly publication housed at the London School of Economics.
- Though not specifically about health, a Time Magazine story ran this week that describes Nicolas Sarkozy’s policies to increase the deportation of Roma from France amidst EU criticism.
